About the role
We make puzzle and casual games for iOS and Android, and we build them in Unity. In hybrid-casual games an idea has to prove itself fast: as a Game Developer you turn a rough concept into something playable in days, then help the ideas that work grow into polished games on the App Store and Google Play.
You write the code players actually touch: the tap, the swipe, the satisfying pop when a level is cleared. You work together with design and art, and you care as much about how the game feels as about how the code reads.
What you’ll do
- Prototype new game ideas in Unity quickly, so we can find out whether they’re fun before we invest more.
- Write clean, readable C# for gameplay, UI, level systems and game feel: animation timing, feedback, effects.
- Keep our games smooth on a wide range of phones, including low-end Android devices: profile, find the bottleneck, fix it.
- Integrate and maintain the SDKs a mobile game needs, such as ads and analytics, and prepare builds for the App Store and Google Play.
- Build small tools and editor extensions that make creating levels and content faster.
- Turn playtest feedback and data into concrete improvements, together with design and art.
What we’re looking for
- Solid experience with Unity and C#, and games or prototypes you can show us: shipped titles, game-jam entries or personal projects all count.
- A good feel for games: you notice when a tap, an animation or a camera move feels off, and you know how to make it better.
- Comfort with Unity’s core systems: prefabs, physics, animation, UI and ScriptableObjects.
- An eye on mobile performance: draw calls, garbage collection, memory and battery.
- Everyday use of Git or another version-control system.
- You like to finish things: a small feature that ships beats a big one that doesn’t.
Nice to have
- Games you worked on that are live on the App Store or Google Play.
- Experience with hybrid-casual or hyper-casual games and their prototype, test and iterate rhythm.
- Shaders (Shader Graph or HLSL), particles and visual effects.
- Ad mediation, A/B tests or analytics tools.
- Basic 3D skills, for example in Blender.
