About the role
On a phone, art has a split second to work: players have to understand what they see, want to touch it, and enjoy watching it react. As a Game Artist you create the look of our games, from characters and objects to the UI, and the store assets, like app icons and screenshots, that make someone tap “Install”.
You work together with design and development, and you see your work in the game, not just in a presentation.
What you’ll do
- Create 2D and 3D game art, such as characters, objects, environments and effects, in a style that reads clearly on a small screen.
- Design game UI: screens, buttons, icons and in-game displays, together with the developers who build them in Unity.
- Make store assets: app icons, store screenshots and other promotional visuals.
- Explore visual directions quickly for new prototypes, and help choose the one that works best.
- Prepare art for mobile: sensible texture sizes, sprite atlases and polygon counts.
What we’re looking for
- A portfolio of game art (2D, 3D or both), ideally with some UI work.
- A strong sense of shape, colour and readability at small sizes.
- Experience with tools such as Photoshop or Figma for 2D and Blender or similar for 3D.
- An understanding of how art gets into a game engine: exporting, sprites, atlases and basic materials.
- You enjoy feedback and quick iterations.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unity: importing assets, setting up materials, animation and particles.
- 2D or 3D animation and visual-effects skills.
- App icons or store screenshots you made for published games.
- Games you worked on that are live on the App Store or Google Play.
